Sonia Paolini’s passion for health and wellness started 20 years ago. She adopted a lifestyle of fitness and using what nature provided (such as whole foods, herbs and oils) to help keep the whole body balanced.

After receiving her certification as a Holistic Nutritionist at the Institute of Holistic Nutrition, she became fascinated with different ancient modalities to encourage the body to heal itself by tapping into the body’s innate healing abilities. This led her to get certified in Reflexology and Iridology, modalities that are commonly used in the Eastern countries.

Reflexology is a touch therapy that focuses on the reflexes located on our hands, feet, and ears. This therapy encourages the body and mind to be put in a state of relaxation because the body cannot heal when we are emotionally and physically stressed. Iridology is the science of analyzing the iris of the eye, which reveals a person’s constitution, tendencies of tissue weakness, toxicity and inflammation in the body. Using iridology as one of the assessment tools, Sonia can provide a personalized dietary, supplementation and lifestyle recommendations based on client’s health goals.

Good health is crucial if you want to experience all that life has to offer you. Let Sonia be your guide to your journey to better health…. a better you!

Welcome!

One of the first questions I am often asked is, “why did you become a Chiropractor?”

Growing up, I was involved in figure skating and ballet and through those experiences I became intrigued by the human body; I wanted to know how we are put together and how everything works. I was first exposed to Chiropractic at the age of 10 and learned that I had a lack of mobility in my pelvis, likely due to numerous falls while skating. I was not experiencing pain at the time, but as I got older and became more aware of my body, I noticed that I felt different after treatment. I had better mobility, I felt looser, and I had improved balance.

I began considering Chiropractic as a career as a result of not only my own experience, but also through the positive effects I witnessed in family members who were also under care. Chiropractic appealed to me because I wanted a role in the healthcare field that involved a natural, hands-on approach to healing, and one that would allow me to spend time with my patients and develop a relationship with them.

I firmly believe in treating each patient as an individual and using a combination of therapies (such as Chiropractic Adjustments, Acupuncture, Ultrasound, Electrical Modalities, Laser Therapy, and Soft Tissue Techniques) to maximize the healing potential. The duration of treatment and chosen modalities are modified and adapted depending on how your body is responding to care.

I encourage patients to become active participants in their healthcare, and I strongly believe in preventative medicine; I don’t necessarily need to see you every week, but rather provide you with the tools to prevent injury in the future.
